　　本剧基于一个真实的CIA项目，在该项目中，女性被训练来渗透恐怖组织和犯罪网络。故事讲述Cruz Manuelos，一名经验不足但充满热情的海军陆战队士兵，她被CIA招募加入了「母狮」战斗小队，试图从内部瓦解一个恐怖组织。

　　Filming has begun on the fourth series of popular Bath-based detective drama McDonald & Dodds, starring Tala Gouveia and BAFTA award-winner Jason Watkins.
　　
　　Comprising three feature length films (3 x120), the guest cast for the first story includes Toby Stephens (Lost In Space), singer/songwriter Pixie Lott (The Voice Kids), Lydia Leonard (Gentleman Jack), Daniel Lapaine (Catastrophe), Dipo Ola (Landscapers), John Gordon Sinclair (Gregory’s Girl) and Ace Bhatti (Line of Duty).
　　
　　In this first film, McDonald and Dodds begin to investigate when a middle-aged woman is found shot dead in a rented flat. The killer has removed all clues to her identity, but DNA reveals she went missing over 35 years ago. Where has she been all those years? And who with?
　　
　　Returning to the cast this series are Claire Skinner (Outnumbered) who plays Chief Superintendent Ormond and Charlie Chambers (EastEnders) who plays DC Goldie. Bhavik C. Pankhania (World On Fire) joins the line up as DC Lee.
　　
　　The series has been commissioned for ITV by Polly Hill and Huw Kennair Jones and will be produced by Joe Shrubb. Executive producers are Robert Murphy, Damien Timmer and Charlotte Webber. The first film is written by Robert Murphy and directed by Khurrum M. Sultan.

Mannix于1958年出版的同名历史著作。该剧由曾指导《独立日》等著名电影的导演罗兰·艾默里奇以及德国导演马可·克罗伊茨派因特纳共同执导本片，《拯救大兵瑞恩》编剧罗伯特·罗达特负责剧本的创作。据报道，除主演安东尼·霍普金斯以外，目前已有汤姆·休斯（饰演提图斯皇帝，维斯帕先长子）、乔乔·马卡里（饰演图密善皇帝，维斯帕先次子）、洛伦佐·里凯尔米、萨拉·马丁斯、迪米特里·列奥尼达斯、贾布瑞拉·派申、Moe Hashim等演员加盟该剧。该剧将于2023年3月在罗马开拍。
